In what kind of world do you want to live?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 08, 2008:
I want to live in a world where people don't hurt each other. No mean words, no nasty comments, no disrespect. Just happiness and love. The feeling that most people have on Christmas Day, but never happens earlier or lasts longer. That's the kind of world I wish I lived in.

“The feeling that most people have on Christmas Day”
it gives us a glimpse of the potentials that lie within us; to be tolerant, hopeful, spirited, giving. But alas, the routine of work intrudes, and people become channeled into a narrow band of thinking and money; we become selfish once again.
There is an age of peace dawning; but it requires a fundamental transformation of the basic society in which we live.
